Andrea Toussaint is truly a "Kangaroo for Life." Not only is she a fellow alumni and teacher at BGHS, but she also dedicates her time and energy in providing higher education choices to the current students of BGHS and the BGHS community. Her efforts have made it possible for many to step out of their comfort zones to achieve more in life. She is the mastermind behind many scholarship programs, seminars, career nights, etc for all children in the Bedford Stuyvesant community. Thank you Andrea for your dedicated service to the community.

Mentoring Opportunity

Dear Friends of Boys and Girls High:

My name is Chakira Branch and I graduated from Boys and Girls High School in 2004. I am a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC. It is a program that provides mentors to all children who need caring adult role models who can expand their horizons and change their lives. Class of 1980-

I'm trying to contact my fellow classmates who graduated in 1980 from the High.

We never had a prom or anything, so I'm just reaching out- remember we are coming upon our 30th yr anniversary of graduating from the "High" next year 2010.

BGHS Reunion for 86-90?

So very recently I saw that the reunion for 91-95 took place and there is a upcoming one I believe for 97- 99 grads.....Does anyone have any info about one for 86-90 or 85-91? Tyesha Delk was one of the key people responsible for the organization of these ....but i wanted to know BGHS alum is there anything in the works? - for these years and is anyone interested? thanks a mil!
